We recently installed over 40 Angled Top Hardwood Bollards for Southgate Car Park.
All Hardwood Bollards meet Council Drawings:
Gold Coast City Council Drawing 05716
Moreton Bay Regional Council - MBRC-3004
Brisbane City Council - BSD-7093
Ipswich City Council - GS042
And are CCA Treated to protect the wood from rot and termites.
Our work was done over two days and in this blog post, we will walk through the process of our installation.
The holes were drilled by a machine and we cleared any excess dirt along the edges to fit in the Bollard.
We then made sure that the Bollards were level and the ground housing the Bollards were flat to prepare for the cement.
Cement was then poured onto the ground, smoothed over and left for a couple of weeks to make sure that the Bollards were set into the ground.
Installed a Chain link along the Bollards to prevent drivers driving through the gaps. If you're looking for an Australian supplier for your Hardwood Bollards, choose TKO Bollards.
